  • Dodiciventuno

    20,0045,00

    NERO DI TROIA

In 1221, Frederick II entered in Capitanata. The DODICIVENTUNO is dedicated to him. This wine is vinified alone from Nero di Troia grapes, an ancient native Apulian vine. Warm, soft, it has a broad bouquet given by the aging in barrique for 12 months.

  • Lingue di Terra

    43,00

    NERO DI TROIA

Produced only in exceptional vintages from careful hand selection of the best grapes; after long maceration, it ages in French oak barrels, followed by an aging in bottle for at least 2 years. Opulent, full-bodied, warm and with a long persistence. The bouquet is broad and complex: ripe red fruit jam, ethereal and spicy aromas in continuous evolution, in the final toasted and slightly balsamic notes. The character is long-lived with a maximum expressiveness of up to 10 years.

For the 2018 vintage we produced only 1,328 75 cl bottles.

    MOSCATO PASSITO

When Luca Scapola began producing Passito in 2021 with the harvest of Moscato Bianco, he was certain about his choice. It was a truly special year, as Alessandro, the fruit of his union with his wife Selene, was born in May. Even back in 2021, Luca knew he would dedicate not only the Passito to his son but also one of the sweetest memories of his own childhood: the intoxicating aromatic scent of Moscato cultivated by his father Michele, which had permeated the family’s land and every corner of his memory. And he knew it because love drives us to eagerly dedicate part of our best to those who matter most. We dig, like archaeologists of intimacy, and when we finally uncover our best, we shape it and offer it as a gift. Luca’s sweet memory now links three generations, taking form in these bottles of Passito—two varieties, one crafted from Moscato Bianco grapes and the other from Aleatico, because when something matters, you give it your all.

The name “sètale” comes from the union of two Italian words: “seta” (silk) and “ale”. The first embodies all the smoothness of the Passito wine; while the second is short for Alessandro.

On the label, golden vegetal patterns radiate from a small, vibrantly coloured spider, like precious stories passed down through the decades.

Spider silk is the strongest fibre found in nature, and there is no bond stronger than that between parent and child.

The wine is golden yellow with notes of dried apricot, candied citron, honey, and dried fruit. A sweet, velvety sip with an elegant progression leading to a long finish, marked by citrus and salt. It goes well with dry pastries and blue cheeses.

    ALEATICO PASSITO

When Luca Scapola began producing Passito in 2021 with the harvest of Moscato Bianco, he was certain about his choice. The wine is ruby red with a bouquet of dried plum and cherry jam, on a bed of withered rose, myrtle, and balsamic notes. A full, enveloping sip with balanced sweetness and a long, fruity progression. We recommend pairing it with a cherry tart.
